White House Pause On Free At-Home Covid Testss Bring Access Challenges

The Biden administration is ceasing the delivery of free at-home coronavirus test kits via the U.S. Postal Service this week, creating uncertainty about how some communities will be able to access tests.

“Ordering through this program will be suspended on Friday, September 2 because Congress hasn’t provided additional funding to replenish the nation’s stockpile of tests,” a light-blue banner on the main page of the government’s official coronavirus site reads.
